Calais - Boulogne-sur-mer, France.
We started our day early to catch the 06:28 bridge opening in Calais.
There was no time to change mainsail and besides the wind wasn't helping either.
Full 5 Bfr wind from the opposite direction.
So we had to use the motor for a couple of hours before we could make use of the Genua.
Then we went faster (6,0 kn) and we arrived early afternoon in Boulogne-sur-mer.
Dima was at the steering wheel most of the time.
As soon as I took over in the harbor of B. we almost got stuck in the mud, due to my misinterpretation of the buoys.
In Boulogne our mainsail was repaired and good internet solution for the French part of the trip was acquired.
So, we will have less problems publishing our blogs.
Sam went kite surfing on the beach again.

Hoi pa, ik heb nu al drie keer geprobeert een reactie te plaatsen. Heele lange veralen en nu heb ik er geen zin meer in het is te ingewikkeld dit blog.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMaar, Koel dat je een blog bijhoud! Dat wist ik niet! We willen wel wat meer insiders info, hoe was de koffie, wie liet er een scheet en waarom zat dat touw vast en wie zn schuld was het. Kortom, we willen een avontuurlijk verslag van je wereldreis naar St Malo.
En er moeten meer grapjes over Fransen gemaakt worden en zo... hihihi
BB gaat goed, papa is zenuwachtig en mama mag helamaal niets meer doen! Ik kijk de hele dag stomme tv series dus ik houd je blog bij OK?
